The ARCA (Asbestos Removal Contractors Association) is the UK’s largest organisation to provide guidance and rules about the safe removal and disposal of asbestos. ARCA members must demonstrate their compliance with ARCA codes of conduct and best practice and are part of the Site Audit Accreditation Scheme, which makes sure that members are working at and maintaining the Association’s required high standards of working with asbestos.

A person or organisation with ARCA membership demonstrates that they meet member requirements as well as showing their desire to provide best practice in their industry. Members are required to gain a relevant level of insurance for each piece of work undertaken, and are periodically monitored by the association to ensure their continued compliance.
