"The trader came and carried out the work. When repairing the WC he called me upstairs to ask if I had heard a particular noise before - it was a cistern type noise and I said yes. The trader left and it soon became apparent that this noise was 24/7 and very annoying. Also every few flushes water gushes from the back. I contacted the trader who said he has asked me about a noise! I informed him the noise is 24/7 and reminded him I am not a plumber (I don’t know about noises) and something clearly is wrong. After several texts he said he would come but stated if the fault is unrelated to his work he would charge me. He was booked to repair the WC so I don’t know how the fault be unrelated? I would not recommend this company again."
Trader reply: "We appreciate the client's concerns regarding the noise after the toilet repair and want to ensure that they are completely satisfied with our service. When we completed the repair, we asked if the noise was present beforehand, to which the client responded that it was. We offered to return to investigate the issue and explained that if the issue was related to our work, we would rectify it at no cost. If it was unrelated, we did inform the client that there would be a charge. We also proposed a date to address the issue, which we understand the client was unable to accommodate. We value our customer's business and aim to ensure the problem is resolved to their satisfaction."
