"I contacted Doug Hey’s in order to find an LPG gas fitter. I freely received no nonsense advice to where I may purchase a fire from different sources. I did not know Doug and his practical sensible advice helped me no end. I obtained a fire and it was fitted without fuss or drama. I am deeply grateful and would not hesitate to recommend him. In this busy world of ours to find a straight talking, eager to help chap was a big win. Remember, I did not know him and his assistance was huge. Many thanks."

"Agreed price of £126 inc VAT, operative arrived after dark, said fire failed a flue flow test disconnected fire said it was unsafe left and said be back next day to sweep chimney and service boiler. Trader phoned and told me he's too busy & can't come back for two weeks. Froze for a fortnight, trader arrived and said nothing wrong with the fire switched it back on. Boiler serviced by an operative who fitted a replacement part both left. I received a bill for £264 and asked why it was so much higher than the quote, was then subjected to phone calls, emails and bombarded by lengthy text messages talking about sending debt collectors, solicitors and all sorts. I paid the bill but will never use these people again."

Kim Finch - Image 1 "Initial phone call was with Doug who was very knowledgeable about LPG boilers, Doug talked through all the pros & cons of several boilers, he wasn’t pushy or try to pressure us and we made our decision on the one we wanted. The boiler was ordered the same day and was available to fit 2 days later. Dougs son Codi was the fitter, he arrived on time was was very personable, he explained everything to hubby and was very methodical in his approach. Within no time the old boiler was out and Codi was straight onto preparing all the pipe work ready etc ready for the new boiler. Codi talked us through the use of the boiler and all its functions, he was a mind of information and answered all our questions. Boiler fitted then Codi fitted a new 5ft double radiator which involved him crawling underneath our static caravan. We are chuffed to bits with the work all carried out to a very high standard. The place was left spotless and old boiler/radiator removed. We 100% recommend this family business."
