Before a trader can be featured on our website, they must pass our stringent vetting procedure. Our vetting team will ensure that a prospective trader has a minimum of two years’ experience. They will check that they have Public Liability Insurance, their ID and undertake in-depth online background checks. Once the first part of the process has been passed successfully, the trader will be asked to provide at least five reviews from former customers. If the vetting team is satisfied that the trader meets our high standards, they will be invited to create their TrustATrader profile page, which will include features such as instant SMS and email, enabling you to connect with a trader at the touch of a button.

We stand by our Edinburgh joiners and carpenters and know that they work to a high standard. They will work with the customer and the trader to establish what the issue is, and to help find a compromise that both parties are happy with. If compromise isn’t possible, and if the trader is deemed to be at fault, they will be removed immediately from our directory and they will be blacklisted, so that they can’t join again at a later date. These strict measures help us to protect our customers, as well as the reputations of our honest, hardworking traders.
