David - Image 1 "Turned up at 1.30pm, with no prior confirmation of an ETA given. Looked at both jobs and replaced the leaking kitchen mixer tap satisfactorily (though used more than half my kitchen roll testing for leaks/cleaning up after the installation), and disagreed that there was a leak in the bathroom, despite there being clear evidence of efflorescence between the floor tiles, and the adjacent room skirting board being swollen and coming away from the wall. Because the carpet wasn't wet, refused to accept there was any leak (despite my saying I suspected the leak to be a slow one so the carpet/wood not getting wet enough) but still did not accept I had a leak. Not sure how else the skirting board would get in the condition shown in pic - clearly didn't want to take on the more difficult job and despite saying a quote for it would follow, no contact since. Recommended but only for straightforward jobs."

I was booked in to replace a mixer tap in the kitchen and to complete a diagnostic check for a potential leak in the bathroom. There was evidence of a previous leak but no obvious signs as to where it was from, the toilet was concealed so it was my recommendation that an inspection hatch would be needed so we could have a look behind the toilet. This work was not included in the original quote and a new quote was given on site. We are still awaiting confirmation for the work to proceed.
