At West Renovate Building Services Ltd we are a friendly, professional, trustworthy, family-run building firm with a growing client base across Herts and Beds.
Since the company was established in 2011, we have successfully completed a number of large-scale property refurbishments for clients. These include splitting a four-bedroom house into two self-contained flats in line with fire safety and soundproofing regulations, and full open-planning of a house by removing multiple load-bearing walls and installing structural steelwork.
In between larger projects we have undertaken a wide range of smaller domestic building jobs such as kitchen and bathroom fitting, and general home improvements.
The company is led by Malcolm West, who has gained a wealth of experience in building since 2004. He has specialised in carpentry since 2009. Malcolm is proud of his ability to problem solve, helping clients to achieve their desired look in a practical, carefully considered way.
Our customers appreciate his ability to deliver high quality, well thought out work - doing what is needed to finish the job to an exceptional standard, without adding un-needed extras.

"Malcolm has done a full remodel of our property, two staircases and a front and rear single storey extension with a few walls moved and openings made. Communication from the outset was fantastic with a responsive and approachable manner through out the course of work, we never felt out of the loop with the progress in our home. His team work well with a high standard set by Malcolm, they’d stay longer to make sure we were happy with the work. I would highly recommend Malcolm and his team and would have them back for any future projects. Thanks again Malcolm"

Fiona - Image 1 "Malcolm removed a wall for us between the kitchen and dining room and put in a steel beam finished with plastering. Good job beginning to end, good project management, good sourcing of other specialists and building inspectors etc. Malcolm and the team worked in a methodical manner and kept us in the loop along the way.
