At Wearing Builders Limited, we provide carpentry and joinery services to customers in Cheshire and The Wirral. We have over 36 years’ experience in the industry and our dedicated team offer a clean, friendly and reliable service.
As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We are very passionate about what we do and we want to walk away from a job feeling proud of what we have done.
We handle our projects from start to finish and we like to provide quality advice and support throughout the project.
Wearing Builders Limited believe that all carpentry and joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.
We now have a workshop in Bromborough village where we can build many of our products.

He replaced two wooden garage side doors and installed a lintel above one of the doors. The work was done efficiently, both Derek and his colleague were polite and I’m very happy with the result. Derek was very communicative and kept me informed on progress. I would definitely use his services again and would be happy to recommend."

"Derek and his crew were punctual and courteous. They turned up on time and remained until the work was done and within time. The work itself is tidy and professional. We are very pleased with the end result. Derek also gave useful advice on preparation which really helped with the finished result. I have no hesitation in recommending Derek and his crew and hope to use them again in the future."

"Derek and the team were brilliant. The work was carried out to a high standard and I was kept up to date with pictures as work was progressing while i was out at work. Things were left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Derek gave great advice before and during the works and there were a few additional pieces of work which he completed free of charge. I would definitely use Wearing Builders again."

Liam - Image 1 "Derek has been instrumental in getting the top two floors of my house (including the loft) insulated, replacing the solid pine floors with new solid pine floors, moving interior walls, making the house fire-safe, making good damaged remnants of the original construction (from 1894) and generally caring for my old house and bringing it back to how it should be, with modern features. His knowledge of carpentry meant he was able to rebuild the bottom step of my staircase in line with the original design and install shelving and a solid oak vanity unit built by his father in record time (7 days). The best part was that all of this incredible work took five weeks from start to finish. I honestly could not have asked for a better builder, I highly recommend him."
