Oscar - Image 1 "Original quotation of £340 for covering 3 holes on the ceiling and re-plaster a section of the wall in the living room. Chris from TNG contacted me on 4/1 and the job was carried out on 7/1. As the wall needed more work, Chris informed me that an additional £270 will be needed for stripping part of the wall, applying 2 coats of pva bonding agent and 2 additional layer of plaster. Since the job was not completed, he deducted £100 from the original quotation. I paid £240 for the original work, in hope that he would come back and finish up the job, and since then I have been trying to contact him for follow ups. Message was sent to him on the 22/1, and 21/2. I have only heard back from him on the 21/2, and that when ask about his availability, he replied with 'soonest would be the end of next week'. If you want your wall half done, and being charged in my opinion 'not a fair amount', I would recommend TNG. However, I would suggest seeking another trader"
Trader reply: "I attended this job on 7/1 as stated above, we carried out the patch work to the ceiling and when patching the wall it was noticed the wall was bubbling due to paper being present on the walls. I let the customer know that additional work would be required, I removed a percentage of the original quotation and it was agreed the amount of £240 would be paid which would clear the balance with the customer opting to get the additional work done once the tenant had moved out. Both the reduced quotation and additional quotation were accepted with no issues. I received a message on 22nd which was missed and I apologised for the error , when contacted again 21/2 I tried to accommodate as much as possible, moving jobs the following week to make space however this was not soon enough for the customer. I can only apologise for the missed communication it was completely unintended, but I can confirm both costs were agreed by the customer and they were happy to proceed"
