Based in Hertfordshire, The Man That Can is a reliable, local family business with over 20 years of experience putting up fences and gates to improve and secure local homes and businesses.
My name is Calvin, I’m a family man from Watford. I specialise in fencing which from a young age I was taught by my Grandad who owned his own fencing company many years ago. I also specialise in all gardening work and rubbish clearances. From the age of 21 I have worked with a couple of gardening companies who taught me everything there is to know about all aspects of gardening.
After years of working for other people, I finally got the confidence to form my own company something I've wanted to do for a while. I wanted can provide a better life for my family. These days, I’m proud to work alongside two of my four sons, keeping the family legacy alive.
The services we provide are all types of Garden Fencing including:
- Larch Lap Panels
- Close Boarded Panels
- Close Boarded Featheredge Bays
- Picket Fencing & Gates
- Bespoke Fencing
- Sheds & Gates
- Trellis
- Decking
- Palisade Fencing
- Fencing Repairs
All types of concrete or wooden posts and gravel boards that we use are provided by a high-quality fencing company that I've used for a long time, so we get a good rate for high quality materials.
For the gardening side, we provide any type of garden maintenance, tidy up and garden clearances and experienced in laying turf. We also do rubbish clearances and I have a Waste Carriers License (which we can show on request) so can take away any type of rubbish and furniture.
All our work is carried out in a quick and efficient manner and to a high standard and we are only happy when you the customer are happy. Hope this gives you a little insight of what we are about and hope to hear from you soon thanks.

"Absolutely thrilled with the work Calvin and the boys work on the fence. My old 28 foot fence and gate were destroyed from the storm we had. Calvin and the team came round quoted a good price for the job and got it all done in super quick time. I highly recommend TMTC, they are super professional, extremely tidy and took all the old panels,posts and gate away. They also done my neighbours fence at the same time. I will definitely be calling them in the new year to have some more work done. GREAT JOB GUYS! And thank you."
