- Pinpointing Hidden Leaks with Advanced Technology
The homeowner noticed a damp patch on the floor but couldn’t find the source of the problem. Using our Testo 865 thermal imaging camera, we detected a temperature drop in the affected area, suggesting water leakage beneath the floor. To confirm our findings, we used a moisture meter to measure elevated moisture levels in the floorboards.
Once we lifted the boards, we found the culprit—a small hole in the pipe, which had been slowly leaking water. Thanks to our advanced leak detection technology, we were able to locate and fix the issue quickly, preventing further damage and costly repairs.

- Salt Analysis Test – Identifying Rising Damp
A salt analysis test helps determine if damp issues are caused by rising damp or another source. When moisture rises from the ground, it carries nitrates and chlorides (salts), which get deposited on walls as the water evaporates.
We take a small sample of plaster or wall material and test it for these salts. If present, it confirms rising damp, allowing us to recommend the right treatment to prevent further damage.
