Taypah Carpentry & Build provide carpentry and joinery services to customers in Christchurch and the surrounding areas and have over 9 years of experience in the industry. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.

"Dan was recommended as a carpenter to help with updating an off grid wooden beach house which was in desperate need of renovation. Dan has quietly and efficiently rebuilt the floors from the joists upwards, replaced and insulated walls, built seating areas, cleared the kitchen and bathrooms and rebuilt windows and cills. He is soon to re-clad the property. Build a kitchen and bathroom unit. The work is ongoing and he more than meets the expectations of the project bringing his ideas and solutions to deal with difficult problems. I had put off working on the site because it is remote and has no electricity but Dan has made the whole process stress free and enjoyable. We still have some way to go but will post pictures when the work is complete. Would definitely recommend Dan for his carpentry, calm and thoughtful working style, work ethic and value for money. The project started in October and is ongoing."
