Talboys Utility Services (Oxford) Ltd is an expanding family business that prides itself on delivering first class service. Work is undertaken for numerous domestic and commercial clients including Thames Water, The University of Oxford, Sovereign and SOHA Housing. From job initiation to execution and after care, we ensure each customer’s journey is as efficient and cost effective as possible.
Operating since 1985 (but with over 50 years of combined experience), Talboys Utility Services (Oxford) Ltd is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the customer water network in the Thames Valley region. In addition to field team expansion and an internal waste plumbing facility, a full call centre and in-house planning function are available. We continue to build on our exceptional reputation within our sector, providing an excellent and efficient service to all our customers.

Initial calls are answered by our friendly call centre team who will allocate your enquiry to our technical planning and appointing department. An appointment will then be arranged with one of our specialist managers to visit your property and provide a free non-obligation quote for your repair or replacement. When the quote has been accepted and the customer is satisfied with all details arranged, a professional and experienced field team will attend on your chosen day to fix your problem. You will be kept informed throughout the project, from en-route updates to repair specifics.

"Talboys came out to quote for work to resolve a leak out of a manhole cover to a communal stop cock. The quote was £1000 but subject to change if they found the job to be more problematic than the original assessment. The job was actually far less problematic than their quote would indicate, it took them 1 hour and minimal materials. But they refused to reduce the quote to align with the cost of labour and materials it actually took. The term in the contract/quote is unfair as it only accounts for the price going up if more work is needed but not going down if less work is required than they originally thought. The backfill isn’t like for like to the path material and is messy. Would not recommend."

"Two men arrived on time to repair a damaged water main. Their work was impressive, finding and repairing the leak and filling in the hole so well that it is hard to tell that they have even been here and no residual damage to my drive. The invoice was exactly as quoted. If this is an example of Tuso's work (which I am sure it is) I highly recommend them."
