Seal’s Carpentry have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Exeter and the surrounding areas for over 15 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"Seal has done an amazing job for us fitting new doors throughout our bungalow. All of them being replaced, presented some quirky challenges to overcome. Nothing fazed Seal. He worked incredibly hard and was always punctual, friendly, polite and considerate and careful to tidy up immaculately at the end of each day. His work is exemplary and we are thrilled with the results and won’t hesitate to recommend - we feel fortunate to have found him."

"He is so wonderful I almost don't want to tell anyone as we have more work to do!! Really thoughtful work on an old house, reused original materials wherever possible, creative around challenges, came when he said and left the place better than he arrived. A gem!"

"I would thoroughly recommend Szilard. We had 9 internal doors fitted all of which Szilard has done to a high standard ensuring everything is well fitted. Szilard protected furniture and also was very good at cleaning up around each door after fitting. Szilard also accommodated us having to delay him at short notice after the door supplier managed to lose our doors! Also Szilard organised additional door furniture to replace the furniture we had lined up and we agreed was not ultimately what would be best for our doors. All in all Szilard is clearly a very good carpenter who gives consideration to completing work to a high standard. Luke"
