"John and his team did us proud. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent timekeepers and workers. Friendly and professional. Did job quickly and efficiently. Left area clean and tidy at the end of every day. Would recommend them highly to everyone. New driveway is all that we wanted, he has done work for us before and we have always been extremely happy with the quality of work and yet again him and his team have done an outstanding job in our back garden clearing it all and them laying paving through out. We couldn’t ask for more thank you very much."

From start to finish they were professional, kept me informed at every stage of the job, no nasty surprises, nice guys, an excellent finished project - my friends and family all comment on how nice the driveway now looks. "I cannot recommend Rutland Paving or its proprietor, as the result of having hired them to replace my patio and paths with Indian Sandstone slabs. They completed the works quickly but left concrete mix smeared on the edges of most slabs and sprayed over a fence and on bushes and flower beds. I called them back and they spent a day cleaning the concrete off the slabs, using a chemical mix. They left a large oily stain on my blocked-paved driveway, which I managed to clean up myself, and again called them back because of remaining stains on the sandstone and my dissatisfaction with the overall appearance of parts of the patio, including a concern about black staining that had emerged on some slab edges, and the possible consequences of the use of chemical cleaners . A subsequent conversation with the trader ended very unsatisfactorily and I am now contemplating what further action I should take."

When we were informed that there were small amounts of concrete still showing we came back and cleaned it up. As Indian Sandstone slabs are natural it is known that marking coming through is quite common and may change over time. Kind Regards Rutland Paving Ltd"
