"Last month I paid Roof-fix £1700 to replace lead flashing on the roof of my dormer bungalow. The quality of the work is very poor and I now have several roof leaks - I had no leaks prior to work. Roof-fix have refused to take any responsibility. It looks like Roof-fix have caused considerable damage to my roof and all the work may need to redone at much greater cost and disruption."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. You called our team out because you had damp and leaks in your dorma roofs caused to splits in your lead work. We come and had a look and the lead that was on your roof had all failed. You accepted the price of £1700 which is a very good price. When we arrived on your property. We started to remove the cladding on the cheeks of your dorma roof to expose the lead work. Upon doing this all the tiles under the lead work were broken. You then proceeded to come out and asked us why we were taking your roof apart to which we responded and explained how we need to do our job. You then understood how the job needed to be done and was happy. To be able to do this kind of job correctly we have to get our lead soakers underneath and behind your cladding for your roof to be watertight and for the lead work to be serving its purpose. We also noticed after we removed your cladding the felt behind it had perished so we removed the old and renewed it with vent 3 pro breathable felt at no extra cost. After we finished the job, you explained that you were very happy with the works and once we left and you had transferred the payment we didn't hear anything back from you until this review. We have over 18 plus year’s experience in this industry and we offer high quality workman ship, and the highest grade of materials used on all our customers houses. We carried out a lot more extra work for you which we didn't charge extra for. We look after our community. "Came at the time agreed. Fixed roof repair and took photographs and kept us informed. Great price and pleasanteam of workers. Great local company. Would highly recommend"

"Did both of the flat roofs on my dormer bungalow at a reasonable price, they post pictures of what they have done on facebook, which I think is great means they are proud of their work and are not hiding anything."
