"Initial Impression - came out within a few days for a quotation visit. Quote received same day. Seemed experienced and pointed out faults with our neighbours guttering.. So initially seemed very good Punctuality - delivery of goods arrived 8am on a Saturday morning. No idea anything was going to be delivered to our property! So very unprofessional. Workers arrived on Tuesday morning and were punctual. Cleanliness - workers did keep clean and tidy. Showed them areas that had debris after they finished and they cleaned up without questioning. Quality - seemed good on the day. Next day raining and waterfall from two new gutters. They came round the next day to repair and admitted not enough brackets were placed to support the gutters hence added a couple more. Week later dripping between gutter and roof. Called and was told someone will come round to have a look. Month later no response, emailed and phoned. Contractor came to visit and said there is 'daylight' between gutter and rood hence not correctly installed. He will contact the office to book in for remedial work. No response for another month, called emailed with photos and videos. They said someone else will come have a look again! Not heard for another month despite multiple calls. Sent an email to say I will be going to trading standards... Someone came that week to look. Said needs to book in for repair. No response for two weeks. Someone else came to have a look two weeks later and said we would need to pay for repairs as 'eaves tray' needed and was not quoted for! Unhappy, I called again and asked to speak to the owner who said they don't always quote for eaves tray and it's an extra charge. However as it's been leaking dripping for over 6 months he will do it free as a gesture of good will! Explained I don't want charity I just want the work done to a profession level where gutters don't drip! Value - more expensive than others. But owner seemed knowledgeable compared to Other quotes I had."

Trader reply: "Hi Dinka, I hope your well and apologise that you feel you haven't had a good experience with us. I feel this review is slightly unreasonable as we did leave you several voicemails so our team could come back and rectify the issue. Also you was offered several dates which you refused as you wanted direct contact with the owner instead. The works in question was additional to the work we had already done and we had agreed to do this free of charge. It was separate to the original work we had done. We are still happy to come and help you out and carry the works out free of charge for the issue raised if you would like to call the office and discuss this. Kind regards, Maccabees Team"
