With over 30 years of experience in the carpentry trade, Knotswood Interiors provide workmanship for the domestic market. In need of a new wardrobe, kitchen installation, an attic renovation, or any other skilled woodwork? Look no further!
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"I recently had the pleasure of hiring John to install 8 doors and replace the existing stair rail, banister and spindles with new at my mums house. I can't express how happy she was with the outcome. His attention to detail and quality workmanship truly stand out. Throughout the process, John was exceptionally proactive in keeping us updated, ensuring we were informed at every stage. His communication was frequent and clear, making everything seamless and enjoyable. Moreover, he was tidy and efficient, leaving the work area clean after each day. On top of his skills, John is a genuinely nice person to work with, which made the experience even more pleasant. "I have found such good people from this website, and John of Knotswood Interiors was another. Professional and polite, the house was cleaner when he finished than when he started. He gave helpful advice and went out of his way to match door furniture and floorboard to our old house. As well as hanging a new door, installing a cat flap and repairing wooden floor, John also created a wooden access door panel into a wall. Fitted perfectly and looks original. Friendly and approachable so we felt we could ask those daft layman’s questions. Even took on some unscheduled smaller jobs that we invented after he arrived. Great to have a fixed quote that was honoured and we felt was good value. We’ll ask John back and would recommend him with no reservations. I’m going to sound a bit ‘old style’ here, but it was so refreshing to have someone who comes exactly on time, does not need a loud radio on, does not use profanity (at least while in our house) and didn’t need two hour lunches!"

"John is reliable, turning up when promised and very tidy and efficient when carrying out the work. Always happy to answer questions. He fitted new doors to an existing fitted wardrobe and I was very happy with his work. I would definitely recommend him."
