"This is the second time I have used KMC. I first used them in 2018. This time we had a new build project for two houses and KMC provided all the windows and doors throughout. Dealing with them from start to finish was a very smooth process. We are very happy with the products and service KMC provided. The team are friendly and very experienced, We would 100% recommend them."

"I decided to use this company to heel and toe a bifold. I specifically requested on the phone how much this would cost and all I was told “we will deal with that later”. So under an ill judged assumption I thought it would cost a going rate. The gentleman who came to look at the door spent roughly 15 minutes playing with the door. I asked him how much it will cost and he said “I don’t deal with that”. I then received an invoice for nearly £100 for 15 minutes work. I argued it only to be told there is a standing call out fee of nearly £100. Same person I spoke to originally and didn’t think important when i specifically asked the first time round. This fee is hyper inflated especially for 15 minutes work. Please consider using this company knowing how much they charge for just turning up at your address. Would not recommend."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. The customer first called the office to explain he was having issues with a bifold door that was not originally supplied or installed by KMC. He thought a toe & heel may be required to repair the door. The engineer was booked to attend, assess and complete works required. We have emailed & called the customer several times to discuss his response to our invoice that was sent following the visit, he has not answered, called us back or replied to any emails. While we were on site the customer's wife mentioned how pleased she was that we were able to have the doors working, as the company that installed them couldn't do this. Our call out fee is £75 plus VAT not £100 as mentioned in the review, if you have any after sales questions then please do not hesitate to contact us, Kind regards KMC Home Improvements Ltd."
