KANDAP (Leicester) is a Council & Highways approved contractor for drop kerbs and driveways.
We are based in Leicester, and have been helping customers throughout the East Midlands for over 15 years.
As an independent family-run business, we are proud of our long-standing reputation for providing high-quality drop kerb and driveway solutions and are committed to providing a trusted service you can rely on from start to finish. We provide a professional service, using quality materials and consider all of your needs, including local planning, drainage and any environmental requirements.
Before constructing a drop kerb, permission is needed from the local council and it must meet certain criteria. We provide a fully managed application process and use our knowledge and experience to ensure that the application for any vehicle access has the best chance of being approved.

"Great customer service and installation of a dropped kerb/block paved drive. After several quotes it was clear that Kandap were best. John quoted us. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His quote was very competitive. We happily moved forward until our local council refused planning permission for the dropped kerb. John was fantastic he put in an appeal on our behalf and sorted everything out. He kept us updated throughout, he had to do a lot of paperwork and chase the matter up with the council many times. He forwarded us all the communication he had with council. He spent considerable time and effort to help us, we saw all the paperwork and emails he sent! After all his efforts planning permission was granted. John and his team have made a beautiful job of the whole drive. Top marks for quality of work, efficiency, friendliness, professionalism and most of all, John's help went above and beyond and he was always on hand if we had any questions. Highly recommended Kandap!"

"Great company really helped us out. Johns a good bloke really helped explain the process and dealing with the council and Severn Trent. The work took just over a day so was quick and looks great. Really pleased with the service and the job. Would definitely recommend."

Heidi - Image 1 "It wouldn't let me upload 2 photos, emagine a low wall across the cars up to the drain and the dropped kerb was just past the drain. Had problems with the cables under the pavement not being buried to the correct depth, so that delayed work until kandap could get it sorted with the council, which they did, then they finished the job. Very pleased."
