I have worked in the roofing profession for approx 38 years. Initially I workd for several roofing companies as a sub-contractor I then decided to form my own company J.W.Scudder Roofing I have trained all of my staff personally and do not use sub-contractors. I take pride that my Son and Stepson are now part of the company and work to a high standard as do all of my employees.     "I was highly recommended by a close friend. When John came around to see what needed doing I felt comfortable with him immediately, I lost my husband recently and I needed someone I could trust and John was that person. He was polite, funny and friendly. I showed him the roof that needed doing and he gave me a quote and we agreed for him to do it. He did a fantastic job, no hanging around he and Sonny just got on with it, they made a fantastic job of it, cleaned up after. Real professionals and I now feel safe that it won’t leak so it can rain all it wants! Thank you so much for your hard work and friendlyness, you were great. Sorry I haven’t put a picture on but I don’t know how to do it!!!"

    "John has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. John has been understanding, communicative and undertook the agreed work, diagnosing the cause for the leak in my roof, showing me videos and pictures of the work before and after. The quality of the work itself is clearly that of a professional. John demonstrated he was also mindful of the cost of works, which is another way to distinguish him from other roofers. John has given me the confidence in the quality of his work and is happy to follow through if there are any concerns. I would highly recommend John to anyone who needs a roofer."

    "Cannot recommend John and his team enough. Had a full roof replaced and looks amazing. All work carried out professionally. Cleaned up when they left. Makes a change to get a professional company. John arrived on time every morning and spoke to me saying how the job is going. Thanks Again John and Co."

    "Despite having 3 companies that could get to me quicker and one undercutting Johnny's quote,my gut told me these guys were the best choice.My gut was right.From start to finish I felt at ease and knew they had everything in hand. The job was a complete reroof,gutters& fascias& rerendering parapet walls. Johnny,Jay& Sonny are great guys,friendly,polite,tidy& punctual.All knowledgeable and able to answer any questions,but I can honestly say I had no concerns with anything.I could see their quality of work and attention to detail really didn't need checking. Obviously not the best weather but that didn't faze them,they were able to juggle the process accordingly and still completed within schedule.The price quoted was the price paid,no hidden extras.I'm totally happy with everything,I've now got the best looking roof in the street. If I need any roof work in future I won't shop around. I can honestly recommend JW Scudder but be warned ...these guys are in demand!"
