"I've been very pleased with the work John, Liam and the rest of the team did to replace a flat roof on first floor extension. John was quick to reply to my initial query, and we arranged a time for him to assess what was needed and how much it would cost. John talked me through what options there were, the pros and cons of each, and what was involved in the work we agreed to. John and the team were on time to every appointment, very friendly and polite and they worked really hard to do a clean, tidy, job as we'd discussed. The end result looks great and already seems miles better than the roof it replaced. I've been really pleased with how smoothly and quickly the job went and I'd be very happy to use the firm again and recommend to others. Having an old house means maintenance is a constant task and finding good companies and tradespeople who can be called upon when needed makes bigger jobs such as roofing much less daunting. Thank you!"

Matthew - Image 1 "John and his team did a large amount of work on our mid-terrace roof including replacing most of the slates, re-felting and installing new counter battens as well as putting down new lead for the gutter and chimney. John was great to deal with, from giving us a very competitive quote at the start to being very quick to reply to us if we had any questions or requests during the work. We felt like we knew exactly what was going on every step of the way. John's team were great to have around. They were considerate and tidy, polite and friendly. We felt very well looked after throughout and the work was completed to a very high standard. We'd certainly recommend J Mac Roofing to a friend or relative."

"There were two components to the work: 1) Re- roofing and insulating the outrigger at the back of the house 2) Extensive repairs to the chimney stacks- repointing, reflaunching and replacing the leadwork All this was completed to a very high standard. We were kept informed by John at every step of the process, and photographs were sent of all the work. The men on the job were really pleasant and considerate. John was recommended to me by a neighbour who'd used John services many times in the past. I always value recommendations from this neighbour as I know he is very particular about the quality and value of the work done. I was not disappointed."
