"Tom of TJC Roofing quoted to renew my flat roof areas, bring them up to current building regs and apply a thermoplast roof covering. I was looking for a qualified builder and Tom is a member of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors. We also asked Tom to add a couple of skylight windows. Tom is a very knowledgeable builder and his proposed solutions to our requirements were first rate. There was some to-ing and fro-ing on start dates but once work commenced, Tom and his team worked continuously and ensured that all works were completed to our satisfaction. As luck would have it we managed to pick the driest week for the work - and the rains kept at bay until it was finished. Since completion we have had an awful lot of rain so I am now very confident that the finished job is watertight! Very pleased with the finished result and I would definitely recommend Tom and TJC Roofing to anyone who is interested in getting a professional job done."

"I have been chasing a water leak on a window on the ground floor. Discussing this with Tom, we reached the conclusion that since the sealing around the windows were in good order, the problem could only lay with the roof. Inspection showed that the roofing felt used had degraded to the point that it was not covering the cavity between the outside wall and inner, or it had been incorrectly installed when the house was built... The facia board was warped and rotten. Tom's team fitted new roof liner to overlap the outside wall, replaced all tiles, replaced the facia board with new plastic. The job took just over 2 days They worked hard and left the garden clean and clear of rubbish every night. They used the more modern methods of dry ridge and dry verges instead of the more traditional methods of cement, which degrade after time. I would recommend them wholeheartedly and will be using them again."

"Tom and his team did a great job. They were friendly and efficient, and made sure that we understood the problem they had identified with our loft extension flashing and disused flue, and the work that they were doing to resolve it. Tom took some pictures of the roof so that I could see exactly what was going on up there! They turned up bang on time and worked carefully and efficiently together, tidying up after they were done. The cost of the job was competitive, and we're very pleased with the work. We've found our "go to" roofing team, and I know they do a bunch of other related stuff too, which I'm sure will come in handy as we gradually fix all the things we inherited from the previous owners of our house...!"
