"We live in a Grade 2 listed cottage, dating back to the 1700's and needed a professional builder to replace an old broken wall which butted up to our neighbours. General Builders knew exactly what was required and fixed the wall to exact standards within budget and timeframe. Their bricklayer certainly knew his trade as the wall looks fabulous and in keeping with the style of the property. They were mindful of our neighbours, and tidied up every day they were here."

"We needed to have a garden wall taken down and rebuilt to a high standard with a quality render finish. We used General Builders for this task and have been very impressed with them from start to finish. Dennis is very experienced and he was clear to us what needed to be done at the outset and kept us informed all the way through. Jason was excellent and worked tirelessly throughout the project. We are extremely pleased with the finished wall and would not hesitate to recommend these builders to anyone. Overall an excellent service."

"The job was interior insulation on external walls in two bedrooms and then plasterboarding and plastering, plus some additional adjustments like to the skirting board. The work was done over four mornings. Dennis and his team made the process very easy by responding quickly, visiting and providing an instant quotation and being very clear about the works in the contract etc. Different options were discussed and a good value approach was agreed - taking more time and effort but using much cheaper materials. I'm particularly grateful for this solution. The work was completed on upstairs bedrooms and the team took great care to protect the house to ensure everything stayed clean. The team were great, friendly and very open. They finished bang on time and checked in with us a couple of times (including a visit) to make sure that we were happy with the quality of the work. We were! Thanks also to Jason who did a great job with additional work painting the walls and ceilings!"
