Empire Glass are a leading family-owned glazing contractor, glass merchant, processor and decorator with offices based in Greenwich and factory conveniently located in the village of Laddingford, a stones throw from Tonbridge.

We`re open Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm assisting domestic, commercial and construction customers across every London postcode and the whole of Kent providing free site surveys, expert advice and emailed quotations so feel free to get in touch as we`re always happy to help, even if its just for advice.

Empire are one of only a handful of “proper” glazing companies exclusively undertaking glazing projects, with regards to glass, we do it all. Our works are varied ranging from a small single glazed window or double-glazed conservatory repair on behalf of a local domestic customer through to a large replacement high rise double glazed unit or 100 shower doors for a large hotel chain in London’s West End.

There’s not much we can’t usually help with in the way of glass or the related so get in touch weather in be domestic, commercial, construction, large/small, basic or complex!

We specialise in the supply and installation of secondary glazing from a single window to an entire building for both domestic and commercial customers. Our secondary glazing can be manufactured in any RAL colour combined with a range of glasses in either toughened or laminated safety glasses. Our frames can be supplied in either a slimline section or with a luxury timber sub-frame. As well as glass products we also supply and install an almost endless range of window/door hardware from all leading manufacturers for Upvc/Aluminium and timber such as hinges, handles and locking mechanisms through to more specialist items such as frameless glass door hardware including patch fittings and floor springs. We also adjust your existing hardware, if that's what's required, without the need for replacement parts.

We operate from our secure custom built 5000sqf factory bursting with the latest machinery providing an extensive range of processed glasses such as:

Polishing, Bevelling, Drilling, Sandblasting, Shaped Polishing, Sealed Units, Spray Booth and Vinyl Stencils plus a whole lot more…….

At any time, our glass stock and range is massive! We hold a full range of mirror including silver, extra clear silver, bronze and grey along with all manner of clear and extra clear glasses along with a massive range of laminated and fire rated glasses plus the full range of Pilkington Patterned Glasses!

Our decorated glass division produces a wide range of the finest custom products to both domestic and commercial customers on either a supply only or supply and install basis. Our decorated products range from custom domestic door plaques, door fanlights (above your front door), sprayed glass wall claddings, splashbacks and commercial wall signage and branding. Our products can be sprayed and/or decorated to match or compliment literally any colour such as your existing wall, door and window frames. Our decorated glass division are proud members of "Made in Britain" an organisation championing British businesses across the world.

Our decorated glass products use one, or a combination, of the following processes with great effect such as:

Sandblast, Deep Sandblast, Spraying, Satin/Acid Plus State-Of-The-Art Vinyl Stencil Cutter.

We mix our own custom glass paint at the factory providing colour matching from all the leading manufacturers such as Dulux, Crown, Valspar, Leyland, Sanderson and Farrow and Ball through to boutique manufacturers such as Zoffany, Little Green, Benjamin Moore, Fired Earth, Fenwick and Tillbrook, Eico and Dulux Heritage.

Empire take training, safety and appearance seriously, as such, all glaziers are trained in all the following disciplines: First Aid, Ladder Trained, IPAF, PASMA and CSCS.

For customer peace of mind Empire Glass are Trading Standards approved plus members of The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), Made in Britain plus Safecontractor and Constuctionline accredited.
