At DPV Joinery we specialist in timber repairs including windows or all types, doors and door frames, front porches and any other timber constructions. Rotten or damaged timber will be cut out and replaced with new, custom made, like-for-like timber.

As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.

However, if your windows are unfortunately beyond repair, we can also manufacture windows and doors to replace with an exact duplicate.

Your windows can also be upgraded to be more energy efficient, with the use of double glazed units fitted into your existing windows. Along with the addition of draughtproofing of your windows, with the combination of both of these, your windows will be greatly improved when it comes to heat loss.

We conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget.

    "We are Most impressed by Darren. We found him to be punctual, tidy and diligent. He removed and replaced rotten woodwork on approx 8 windows. He replaced like for like, a window, an amazing job, we are delighted with his expertise! We have no hesitation in giving his name to our friends . Our home is a Grade11 listed building. Darren is very knowledgeable, keeping us Informed. Re price etc at every stage. We will have no hesitation in having him do more work for us, when the time arrives . Thank you"

    John - Image 1 "Darren's work for us has ranged from the restoration of Victorian sash windows ( a regular job) to rebuilding the timber frame for an external door with side windows, to replacing an external stepway to a 1st floor door. He is an inventive craftsman who always uses quality materials. In addition he is meticulous about planning his work so will adhere to the agreed timetable."

    "I needed a competent joiner to carry out window repairs and refurbishment. Use timber and not just fillers. Darren responded and quickly understood my requirements. The price quoted was fair. Darren arrived as agreed and completed the work to a high standard. Some weeks later he also responded to an emergency repair, quickly and efficiently. Darren simply gets on with the job. Highly recommend."
