Digital Planit is a professional company based in Berkeley and was established in 2010. We take pride in providing clients with a professional, friendly and personal service in design, planning applications and building regulation plans.
We operate in Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, providing cost effective design and planning packages to domestic and commercial customers alike.
Our team consists of highly experience qualified architectural designers, interior designers, planning consultants and structural engineers.
Typical domestic projects include home extensions, loft conversions, garage conversions, barn conversions, annexes and new builds.
For homeowners, planning for such a project can be complicated and daunting. At Digital Planit, we remove the stress and uncertainty. "James’s approach is very professional and his advice clear. He listens and takes note of what the client needs and responds positively with straightforward design options and solutions. In the appointment he sets out very clearly what he will do and when it will be done and has, without exception, achieved this. James has excellent knowledge of the Planning process and is careful and considered in what he proposes. He engages directly with the Planning officer(s) and keeps the client fully informed of progress and decisions which are needed."

"We purchased a hall next door to our property with Sui Generis use - so no formal building use class and wanted to turn it into a rental property. This meant putting in for full planning permission with our local council and something we had not done before. We approached Digital Planit for help, which included initial consultation, full survey of the property, production of proposed floorplans and elevations, site location plan, submission and management of pre-planning and the full planning application. The fee was split so we did not have to pay everything up front. James always responded to questions quickly when we did not know what to do, particularly with reference to paperwork and linking in with the comments from the planning officer following the pre-planning meeting. We are very pleased with the way it all went. Highly recommended. We will be using Digital Planit again for the building regulation elements when we get a builder on board."
