Based in Manchester, Convert Your Garage provide high-end garage conversions to people in the Northwest including Manchester, Wilmslow, Bury, Stockport and the surrounding area.
At the age of 30, Jim set up Convert Your Garage and found himself converting garages as people were not using them for their cars as they were not big enough, and instead were using them as a storage ‘shed’.
Converting the garage in to a habitable room with a matching front window and brickwork, all thoroughly insulated with a heating system and door opening formed from the hall for example walking onto a flush floor with lighting and all units boxed in with open access certainly makes the space much more comfortable and adds value to the house.
19 years later Convert Your Garage have converted over 3000 garages as well as 200 extensions.

"A big thank you to the Convert Your Garage team for the amazing job they did on our driveway. They went above and beyond to make sure it was completed in time for my dad’s return from holiday as a surprise. We really appreciated the extra effort and care they put into making it all happen. "Jim and Cait did a fantastic job of organising the project. An initial talk through of what we wanted was followed by a final video " what to do" briefing for the team - who arrived on Monday and had, by Friday , completed the new walls window ,floor ,ceiling and plastering ! Finishing off with cupboards for boiler and the meters and skirting, doors etc took a couple more days, and then their floor expert set to work. A great job, well done ; thank you."
