About Carters Restoration Services, Huntingdon

Carters Restoration Services is a small family-run business specialising in traditional lime repointing but also offer other services such as cement repointing, general brickwork, damp proofing, chimney repairs and repointing, and subsidence repairs. We know that investing in property improvements, conversions and new builds is a significant investment for our customers and pride ourselves on our reputation for providing a trustworthy and efficient service to our customers.

Bricklaying and pointing is a craft and our friendly, experienced team members continually strive for excellence using both traditional and modern techniques to achieve an outstanding finish. Based in Huntingdon, our local bricklayers are fully qualified and insured and work to the highest standards.

Our bricklayers take the time to understand their clients’ needs and budget before embarking on any job. They apply their extensive experience in bricklaying and masonry, aiming to exceed customers’ expectations and achieve a high quality finish designed to last for generations. We work closely with each customer and are proud of the positive feedback that we receive from our many satisfied customers.

    "Liam and his brother came on a very cold day to do some repointing on my 1960s bungalow. They were polite and helpful and very clean and tidy. The job was completed to a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."

    "The quote was very reasonable for the work. They arrived when they said they would and carried out the work promptly.     "We are delighted with the repointing work that Liam and his team recently carried out for us. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the job was completed within the expected time frame. Liam and his team were very sensitive to the impact on our nearby neighbours and worked extremely hard to keep the surrounding area clean and tidy as well as helping us with some tricky logistics due to the location of our house! The quality of repointing is excellent and Liam went over and above, removing some very stubborn stains from bricks affected by previous additions to the house and digging a trench to allow the back wall to breathe. We asked Carter’s Restoration Services to come back and complete some more repointing on our front garden wall, having been so pleased with the work carried out on the house and would highly recommend them."
