Carters Restoration Services is a small family-run business specialising in traditional lime repointing but also offer other services such as cement repointing, general brickwork, damp proofing, chimney repairs and repointing, and subsidence repairs. We know that investing in property improvements,conversions and new builds is a significant investment for our customers and pride ourselves on our reputation for providing a trustworthy and efficient service to our customers.
Bricklaying and pointing is a craft and our friendly, experienced team members continually strive for excellence using both traditional and modern techniques to achieve an outstanding finish. Based in Huntingdon, our local bricklayers are fully qualified and insured and work to the highest standards.
Our bricklayers take the time to understand their clients’ needs and budget before embarking on any job. They apply their extensive experience in bricklaying and masonry, aiming to exceed customers’ expectations and achieve a high quality finish designed to last for generations. We work closely with each customer and are proud of the positive feedback that we receive from our many satisfied customers.
We undertake a full range of bricklaying, pointing and masonry jobs of all sizes, including:

"Carter’s Restoration Service is an excellent company to deal with and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. An itemised and competitive quotation was received immediately after Liam’s visit to review the work. I could tell by his knowledge and enthusiasm that his was the company I wanted to do the work. The team arrived on time every day and worked extremely hard and non-stop; some days not leaving until quite late. They were courteous and we were kept informed of progress and the work to be done each day. During the work they cleared any mess and on completion cleaned windows and jet washed paths. The quality of repointing is excellent and we are extremely pleased with the result. It was so good to deal with a company that has a work ethic and takes so much pride in what they do. Thank you Liam and Sam."

"Liam and his brother came on a very cold day to do some repointing on my 1960s bungalow. They were polite and helpful and very clean and tidy. The job was completed to a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again."

"It is not easy choosing the right Tradesman for the job, but we could not have chosen a better trader than Carters Restoration. They know their stuff and told us exactly what the job would entail, in every detail and if there would be difficulties and how they could be resolved. What stood out to us, was the fact that the work created a wet mess at the front and on the drive, BUT Carters assured us the gravel would be replaced or topped up once they had finished. This did not affect the price quoted! We can't fault the work or the traders. ( To see photos, got to the Carters Restoration website and this website ). ***** 5 stars all the way :)"
