Captain Stove Direct* is a family run business based in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire. A HETAS registered and trained company - H006 and H003 flue systems, we specialise in the installation of - wood burning stoves - multi fuel stoves - open fires - custom built fire surrounds - chimney repointing - chimney rebuilding - chimney removal

*All installations supplied with a 904 liner thickest grade 1.2mm. We are specialists in difficult and unusual installations, often able to complete installations without resorting to scaffolding or using a cherry picker, saving our customers money.

All of the above work is done "in house” - no out sourcing of labour or trades people, this ensures smooth continuous and timely completion of your project. Our background in construction in which we have over 12 years of experience ensures quality workmanship from our staff; the team remains from start to completion - No flitting between jobs!

We cover a wide area - ( 50 mile radius of Earls Barton ). This includes towns such as Milton Keynes - St. Albans - Harpenden - Hemel Hempstead - Flitwick - Watford - Garston - Dunstable - Kempston - olney - Newport Pagnell - Leighton Buzzard - Towcester - Banbury - Daventry - Kettering - Market Harborough - Pitsford - Spratton - Peterborough, to name a few.

We offer a free design and build service from conception to completion.

However we do recommend that you call us out first as to making the suitable / right choice of stove. If you choose a stove above 5kw output we will have to install a core vent which allows additional outside air in the room where the stove is proposed to go. Also where space around the stove may be tight, will also affect your choice. We suggest that once size and type of stove is suitable for your home, that you the customer purchases the stove on line (more competitive and endless choice) however we do have many recommendations as to a suitable choice of stove.

Once the stove has been chosen we as a company will supply all the relative top quality UK sourced materials from one of only two companies that manufacturers stainless steel liner in the UK; these materials are from top of stove to final chimney pot termination cowl.

Time taken from start to finish of the installation - 1 - 3 days depending on customer requirements.

All jobs are carried out one at a time and crew remains on project until completion.
