Building Design Consultancy was formed in 2007. We service predominately the residential market, providing domestic clients a no-nonsense, efficient and economic service providing architectural drawings and technical documentation to acquire statutory compliance of building projects.
We have over 33 years of architectural design and construction experience throughout the residential and commercial sectors.
Building design is not limited to just the aesthetics of the final structure, but also consideration of its effect on the environment locally and globally during and post construction, the materials to be used, the method of construction, the welfare of those constructing it and how the building is to be occupied.
The client's budget for construction and the life-cycle costs are also important, ie. running costs, maintenance, heating and future adaptability.
Building Design Consultancy can provide you a complete service from advice, initial concept sketches, outline planning, detailed planning, building regulations and contractor selection.

Amy - Image 1 "Mark was absolutely brilliant designing our single storey extension and garden landscaping. He was extremely thorough and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. No amount of changes were too many and he made sure it was exactly what we wanted. We had an issue with a retaining wall in our garden which he went above and beyond to help us tofactor that in with our plans. He even got advice and guidance from a structural engineer to clarify exactly what we needed. I honestly couldn't recommend Mark enough and we are so glad we had him design this new part of our home. Thank you Mark !"
