Barry Whittall Joinery has been established since 1989 and specialises in designing and manufacturing furniture for the home. I am based in Luton and cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas within approximately 40 miles.
With a reputation built on passion and quality I pride myself on listening exactly to my customer's requirements and needs. I design and manufacture kitchens, home offices, bedrooms, bookcases, display units and multi-media furniture, including automation and cinema rooms. I work alongside a number of suppliers in the industry to deliver bespoke designs and finishes to suit individual requirements. I also deal with standard middle range good quality furniture. My ethos is quality, care, craftsmanship and creativity.
I always strive for perfection, aiming to create furniture which not just reaches, but surpasses the customer's expectation. Taking great care in sourcing the best materials and designing each piece of furniture to individual requirements, right down to the most finest of detail. Not only can I make a piece of furniture to a completely new design I can also match to any existing style, design or colour of the furniture already in the room.

"We are more than happy with the alcove unit Barry built for us . Barry is a proper old school grafter works very hard and takes care and pride in the work he does . We had a bit of a wait till Barry was able to come and do the unit but we now know why because he is in high demand but his work and what we are now left with has finished off our living room better than we imagined , Barry arrives exactly on time he says he’ll be there and made sure all work areas were covered and protected Like I said Barry has gone above and beyond my wife and I expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending him He’s a lovely guy and explains how everything was done like I say I can’t praise him enough"

"Barry did a tremendous job helped us plan the alcove cupboards his eye for detail made it look like the shelves and cupboards belonged in the dining room we love the finish. He was always on time kept the work space need and tidy nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend him."

"What can we say? We have found a true gem. Barry is a true craftsman who went above and beyond our expectations. He helped us with our vision for a new bedroom and helped bring it to fruition. Barry advised us on our designs and gave us ideas to make the most of the space we had. His attention to detail and workmanship was exemplary. The materials he provided were of top quality. "Barry designed and created some bespoke bookshelves to go on the back wall of our lounge, which we were refurbishing. Barry was a pleasure to work with - very attentive, punctual, responsive, and his attention to detail is superb. Barry was also very good at dealing with last-minute changes on our part and was able to make adjustments to the measurements and design without incident or fuss. The finish of the bookshelves was superb and we're extremely pleased with them - they've completed changed the room and look as if they should always have been there! Barry also worked really well with other tradesmen we had e.g. he was happy to liaise with our painter and also the people doing the flooring in the lounge. I would recommend Barry to anyone who wants a high-quality joiner and especially if you want something bespoke. He was also excellent value for money given the quality of the finish and we will definitely be using him again in the future!"
