- Image 1 - This Starlink installation in a popular rural area of Wigan featured our standard, rock solid method of installation. This ensures that the kit will stand up to all weather conditions, whilst the use of the shelly mast clamp is ideal for ensuring that the Starlink warranty is not invalidated due to improper fixing. Another very happy customer!
- Image 2 - For this installation in Withnell near Chorley, the customer requested a stack mount. We therefore used two 6×6 galvanised lashing kites and mounted the Starlink antenna on a four foot, 1.5 inch heavy duty alloy mast via a 6×6 shelley clamp. Another safe, secure and successful job!
- Image 3 - This recent installation in Wigan was a four-room system that supplies perfect Freeview reception to a lounge, a conservatory and two bedrooms. The SAC Mux Master was fed into a Labgear four-output mast head passive splitter with the four output cables then discretely channeled to the stated locations. Another very happy customer!
- Image 4 - This installation was in Atherton with the customer needing a high quality TV signal in three rooms (lounge and two bedrooms). For the perfect solution we installed the SAC Mux Master, a super high end Freeview antenna which is now our most popular aerial. Total cost was just £150 all in.To take a look at more installation examples, please visit: https://www.aerialandskyservices.co.uk/latest-installations/
- Image 5 - Many inexperienced aerial installers use something called an SSB (self support bracket). This is commonly referred to in the trade as a knock-on, as this describes how the bracket attaches to the chimney using two pins which are crudely hammered into the mortar. However, this is an insecure installation as the bracket can fall down over time often with the bricks still attached to the bracket. At Aerial & Sky Services we only use what is known as a lashing system. This is a multi-strand wire cable that fits securely around all four corners of the stack. Insurance companies frown on SSB installs, and if they come down and cause damage to the room, some insurers will not cover damage caused.
- Image 6 - Aerial & Sky Services completed a 2-room Freeview aerial installation in Hindley Green this week. This customer recently ended their Sky contract due to never-ending subscription increases, so they opted for a Freeview aerial installation instead. We installed the RX-12 aerial on the gable end of the property using fully galvanised bracketry that will help the aerial stay rust-free and long-lasting. The cables were discreetly fed into the living room and bedroom. The full cost was JUST £110.
- Image 7 - This Blake XK-05 K-Band aerial was installed by Aerial & Sky Services at a property on Hurst Lane, Glazebury. This house has had a full rewire and the electrician wired x3 RG6 signal cables from 3 rooms connecting to the loft space. The aerial was mounted on the back apex on a 6x9 galvanised bracket 6-foot crank alloy mast, and the cable fed into the loft space where all three cables were connected to a 1-in-3-out inter-modulation splitter. This resulted in perfect HD Freeview reception for all 3 TVs.
- Image 8 - This resident in Euxton, near Chorley, was quoted a figure by a national company of £400+VAT for a basic TV aerial replacement. The installer arrived and refused to go onto the roof of the bungalow to complete the job, leaving the resident with the same aerial and reception problems they started with. He then got in touch with us. We installed an RX-12 TV aerial on the stack at JUST £80. Another customer happy with our installation and price!
- Image 9 - This recent installation of an RX-12 Freeview TV aerial was completed for a homeowner on Atherton Road in Hindley Green. The customer got in touch with us as he had lost signal on both of his TVs. During the inspection of the rig, we found 2 aerials on 1 mast which led the top aerial to snap and cut out the second aerial. Our solution was to fit 1 RX-12 into a Wolsey Splitter and replace the lashing and mast. The cables were in perfect condition which meant the cost for the whole job was JUST £90 fully-fitted!
- Image 10 - ⚡NEW! UPDATED Blake XK-05 K-band Aerial⚡ This recent installation of a new Blake XK-05 K-band aerial was completed for a homeowner on Widdows Street in Leigh. The updated aerial rejects any signal over mux channel 37, as it has larger front elements and the balun assembly is tuned. A great benefit of this aerial is its elimination of any mobile 5G/6G, not just because it is under a reception group called ‘K band’ but because of the LATEST kit we use when fitting your aerial. The installation came to just £135 - a fully fitted aerial, servicing three rooms and a very happy Leigh customer!
- Image 11 - Here's a photo of a recent installation of a commercial satellite dish for a pub based in Speke, Liverpool. This is the largest of the two Sky antennas - it's the Zone 2, a 57cm diameter elliptical satellite dish, compared to the standard Zone 1 which is 43cm diameter. The distance between the antenna and set-top box (STB) was over fifty meters hence we used a Zone 2 dish that has higher gain to compensate for the trunk loss down the cable.
- Image 12 - Satellite Dish Installation Costs: We supply, fit and guarantee single satellite dishes to 1 room for £95. If the installation requires additional fixings or brackets we will quote you seperately prior to the installation. If you require satellite cabling to 2 or more rooms we will quote you seperately - please enquire. We will explain these to you, enabling you to evaluate where on your property you would like the dish to be installed. Our favoured approach is to blend the functional with the aesthetic – ensuring that you gain the dual benefits of high-quality reception and a tasteful placement of the satellite dish, so that neither the receiver itself nor the related cabling detracts from the appearance of your property.
- Image 13 - We’ve just saved this lucky resident of Charnock Richard a WHOPPING £302 on his TV Aerial Install. This resident of Charnock Richard near Chorley rang a telephone number he thought was a local number, but his call was automatically re-routed to a call centre for a nationally advertised tv aerial installation company. The company turned up and quoted him a figure of £382 for a standard one room tv aerial installation! Luckily his neighbour (who had used us previously) got involved and advised him to contact us and decline the £382 quotation. We rescued the day and installed his standard one room TV Aerial for just £80 fully fitted. Another happy client who’s also £302 better off!
- Image 14 - Here’s a recent TV Aerial installation for a local homeowner in Westhoughton. Our customer requested Freeview TV connection to x3 rooms.
