Based in Potters Bar, Advanced Construction Solutions has over 20 years’ experience in damp proofing. We have evolved with changing technology to provide outstanding services to treat wet rot, dry rot and damp in your home or business premises.
We pride ourselves on our efficient, friendly and high-quality services. We take the time to visit each client, talk through their damp issues and concerns and advise on ways to reduce damp (e.g. the introduction of dehumidifiers). In the case of structural intervention, we will talk through the options available. We understand clients’ reservations about having damp treatment and do our best to explain the problem and the choice of solutions without compromising on quality or service.
Damp proofing isn’t always straight forward. Our team of experts will diagnose the source of the damp and provide you with a report on recommended measures to treat it.

"Jason and his son completed a variety of damp work on our house both inside and outside to a very high standard just before Christmas 2024. Jason was very clear about how much the work would cost and kept to that figure. Jason has completed work on our house a number of times on the past 10-12 years and his work has always been to a high standard. Jason is very friendly, polite, works very efficiently and clears up any mess/keeps mess to a minimum. Jason is also very punctual. I would highly recommend Jason and his son. Thank you."

John - Image 1 "Jason did all the things you would expect. He turned up for the quote on time and sent the quote within the timescale he said he would. He was knowledgeable about the work required and explained what he would do with what materials. We agreed a date for the work and he kept me informed about timing etc. The work was done in a professional way and he left the area clean and tidy taking away the old plaster. Would highly recommend."

"Jason was recommended to me by a neighbour. We quickly arranged a meeting at my house and run through all the work which I needed done. Throughout all the work Jason was always punctual, and was always readily available to discuss any issues that occurred. Once decided on all the work needed Jason have me a fixed price which was keep too. I had a complete revamp of the porch area - two new doors and side window fitted. Together with all making good of the surrounds. Jason also fitted a new back door and a new ceiling with plastering in the kitchen. Jason and his son worked well together, very polite and were more than happy any issues that occurred along the way. Worth noting is the fact that my cottage dates back to 1873 and as with any properties this old can present other issues which were all dealt with Jason very professionally. Cannot fault Jason and his son on a job well done within the timeframe quoted and would not hesitate to recommend him."

"Jason was very easy to deal with and was reliable and trustworthy. He gave me a quote on some external damp-proofing, guttering and fixing damp damaged patches of the internal walls that a survey had found on a house I was about to buy and once I had bought completed the work neatly and efficiently. He even came in quite a bit below his original quote. Nice bloke. No problems at all, would recommend."
