A Improvements are Civil & Structural Engineering Consultants is experienced in the design of all major structural materials, including Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber. We are based in Stalybridge.
A Improvements believe that the most important decisions to be made in the structural design of a building is to ensure that the final structural solution adopted meets the needs of the brief and architectural aspirations, as well as being a cost-effective structure.
A Improvements provide a wide range of engineering consultancy services. Our services include conceptual and outline design, tender and contract documents, full detailed design, preparation of drawings and preparation of specifications.

"Andy has done work for me on and off for years. As a contractor myself it's sometimes necessary to use subcontractors to carry out various works Andy is a great all-rounder confident, experienced, and trustworthy, which makes it easier for me to leave Andy to run some of the jobs for me, knowing he is representing me and my company gives me piece of mind. The good reviews I recieve from my clients , regarding him and is work, means not only do I have no problem using his services time after time, but would always recommend him and his services to others"

Scott - Image 1 "Andy and team have been great throughout the different works on our house. They've been thorough and flexible including taking on additional work at short notice when a structural issue came to light when investigating a rodent infestation (pictured here, original works included repairing/replacing floor joists and refurbing rooms)! Works are to a high standard and in line with what we asked for in terms of maximising insulation and energy efficiency. The whole team are professional, polite and have worked to our needs (we work from home) and in a difficult location in terms of accessibility. We're very happy with the works and would recommend Andy."
