We also campaign against rogue traders, in a bid to protect some of the most vulnerable members of our communities. In order to promote best practice and high standards, we encourage all of the traders and trade organisations registered in our directory to become affiliated with industry- specific, relevant organisations, such as the Construction Industry Federation.

The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) represents members of the Irish construction industry, and is known as one of the leading voices within the industry. The CIF recommends best practice to all members and focuses on a number of areas within the industry, including public capital spending programmes, the creation of targeted and effective regulations, procurement contracts, policies and procedures for the public sector, helping SMEs gain access to finance, improving skills to aid growth and managing and improvement of the sector’s reputation. The CIF is led by an Executive Committee of 34 members, who direct the team and support the organisation to achieve the objectives of the organisations various committees.
