The Builders’ Merchants Federation (BMF) is the UK’s only organisation for merchants and suppliers. The BMF protects merchants’ and suppliers’ interests within a range of bodies, including Central and Local Government and regulatory bodies such as planning departments and Trading Standards. The BMF provides a range of specialised, industry-specific training, from apprenticeships to product training and selling, from manager development to a foundation degree. With 480 members, which include individual traders and leading manufacturers and suppliers, the Builders’ Merchants Federation strives to ensure high standards, protecting its members and their customers.
