"John has a lot of experience and this showed in our initial meeting with him. He has a wealth of knowledge which was very useful especially from a cost saving perspective. John gave us a good quote for a considerable amount of work. John and Dan did structural work, plumbing, kitchen fitting and floor laying for us. As with all building work issues did arise but these were dealt with and we are happy with the finished product. Thank you John and Dan!"

Avtar - Image 1 "The trader was engaged to rebuild a domestic garage with a room above in late April 2022. His attendance on site was infrequent and he was always late. For example, from 8th June to 14 October 2022 he was on site for a total of 16 days out of a possible 93 days. He admitted not being a roofer or bricklayer but attempted these jobs himself. The overall quality of his work was extremely poor, subsequently requiring remedial work to be carried out. Lintels above windows and doors were incorrect sizes and had to be replaced by a new builder. The walls above the DPC do not sit squarely on the foundations. In November 2022 he unexpectedly turned up, collected his tools and walked off the job leaving it incomplete and open to the elements. He refused to provide us with invoices, and withheld monies for materials which were undelivered. We successfully achieved a judgement against him via a third party in November 2023."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. We are sorry to hear how you feel and appreciate your comments. On numerous occasions we discussed the work with you, trying to accommodate all of your deviations from the original scope of the work that we had agreed. We continually asked for payments to be made to enable us to continue but as a result of failure to pay for the additional work being requested, we had no other choice but to pause until payment was made. As communication broke down between us, the best route was via 3rd party mediation which provided a satisfactory outcome to all. Thanks again for your feedback and we wish you all the best for the future."

Tim - Image 1 "John undertook various improvements and an extension to our elderly property. John was very understanding to our requirements, providing us with options to improve ceiling height to an existing morning room, add additional light, and bringing the garden into the back of the house, as part of a remap and small extension. Additionally, taking down a dangerous chimney, and full rebuild, new windows and doors around the house as well as weatherboarding to complete. Thoroughly recommend John and Dan. Thanks Gents"
